A mother has been accused of mocking her
daughter on Facebook as she killed herself in a live video.
Unknown to the mother of the 14-year-old
girl, her daughter was in the process of committing suicide, which she streamed
live on Facebook.
In a report from a child services department,
Gina Caze is accused of doing nothing to stop her daughter from committing
suicide in Miami.
Nakia had been living in foster care at the
time of the incident – after being taken away from her mother in 2009 due to
physical abuse concerns.
At one point, she was passed around to 14
different homes in the span of 16 months.

She was returned to the care of her mother in
2010, only to be removed in 2014, and then returned after social services
insisted it was for the best.
One year later, Caze relinquished custody,
saying that she no longer wanted the teenager.
The Florida Department of Children and
Families claimed that Caze watched the two-hour long Facebook live video as
Nakia killed herself.
According to the Tampa
Bay Times, the Miami-Dade Police found Nakia hanging from the door
frame in the bathroom.
