A 41-0year-old Anthony Roberts raped an 81-year-old woman minutes after he sat next to her on a bus
The rapist followed the woman after she got off at her stop and then dragged her into a secluded area before attacking her, Metro UK reports.
He stripped her and threatened her, claiming he had a knife and would kill her if she made a noise.
The victim told a family member that she had been attacked in Balham, south west London, last month.
Police was informed and the victim was treated for her injuries at hospital.
Roberts pleaded guilty to kidnap and two counts of rape when he appeared at Kingston Crown Court.
Detective Inspector Melissa Laremore, from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command, said: ‘Roberts is a very dangerous offender who subjected the elderly victim to a vicious rape.
He will be sentenced on 28 April at the same court.
