Man found dead in swimming at his farm

Police in Spain are investigating the death of a man drowned in the swimming pool at his farm in the Valencia region, his hands and feet were bound and his body tied to a bag of stones.

The discovery was made by four teenagers when they saw the gate open.

According to the report, the victim has been identified by the Guardia Civil as Pedro Pablo B A, a man in his mid forties and the owner of the property.

He reportedly rented rooms out on the farm and had recently had two young men staying who helped with maintenance at the sizeable property on the outskirts of Sot de Chera, a town in the Valencia region.

A statement from the Guardia Civil said the body was in an “advanced state of decomposition” and that the man was “tied at his wrists and ankles, had a plastic bag over his head and was weighted down with a bag of stones”.
