A 42-year-old man
died while attempting to rescue a 12-year-old girl from being crushed by a
collapsing building on Saturday. Eyewitnesses said Babloo rushed to rescue
Prabha, the daughter of the local watchman.
A sustained
rescue effort managed to bring him out of the rubble alive, but he succumbed to his fatal injuries. The incident, caused by heavy
rainfall claimed another life and injured four.
according to the report The building had been declared
"dilapidated and dangerous" by a local civic body.
