An officer
from Florida’s Lakeland Police Department has done what is called love in
action.
Officer Kareem Garibaldi was on patrol in the morning
when he found a little puppy walking alone; he tried to find the owner but he could
not so he took her back to the station and later went home with it.
To make sure that the puppy was safe, he took her to
an Animal Medical Centre for medical checkup, there he continued waiting for
the dog while the dog was being checked by the vets for health condition.
Connie Johnson the
manager of the shelter’s safety net in her statement said that the officer’s
attitude toward the dog was a selfless thing to do, "I walked in, and that's when I saw him and the puppy," "He
was exhausted, the puppy was exhausted, and they were sleeping. He was not
thinking about getting home to sleep. He was thinking about what he could do to
help this puppy survive," said Johnson. "He actually woke up at one
point just to see if she was OK, then he went back to sleep."

After the checkup, the officer brought the puppy back to the police station where it was finally adopted by a dispatcher who fell in love with it.
What a heart of gold, thank you officer Kareem for your kind hearted person, love you for that. Keep up the good job.
