Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola
Salako, has advised couples to help each other in this period of economic
declining that Nigeria is facing.
In her letter, she wrote that the rise in domestic violence
is heart breaking and alarming and that it takes the grace of God for one to
live and survive in Nigeria. She stated that prayer is the solution to the
problems but she maintained that there is need to be patience with each other.
She
advised men to control their anger knowing that it is hard to meet up on bills
and other home needs.
She
advised women to control their mouths and stop complaining or nagging because
the situation of things now is not time for such attitude and that women should
be supportive to the man by doing something for the family.
