Gary Simpson faces charges over the kidnap of his niece

The man who was accused of kidnapping a 9-year-old Rogersville girl is expected to appear again to the court for his preliminary hearing on Monday. In case you missed news, it read it here

According to wbir.com, Gary Simpson faces charges of kidnapping after he disappeared with his niece Carlie Trent to an unknown area for some days.


At Simpson’s first appearance last week, he questioned the judge about his charges.
What I don't understand is I'm being charged with something that her dad's girlfriend did occasionally, he said.

Right now Simpson is in jail on a $1 million bond, during his arraignment he told the court that he has no assets and little savings.
