A transgender woman castrated by a man without a medical license

 


Police say a Colorado man without a medical license has been arrested after he allegedly used an Army surgical kit to castrate a transgender woman at her Denver apartment. NEW YORK POSTReport

A police affidavit says James Lowell Pennington, 57, removed the testicles and sutured the opening while the woman’s wife witnessed the 90-minute procedure. The wife called 911 about three hours later when blood poured from the incision.

Pennington was arrested Thursday on suspicion of first degree assault causing serious bodily injury and is jailed without bond.

When Jean Luc Montou took to Facebook to announce the birth of his newborn son Julian on May 9, he also makes the devastating announcement his partner Sarah Bertrand, 29, died just 24 hours after giving birth.

Bertrand’s story has gone internationally viral since Montou’s original May 11 post.

According to the news, Bertrand’s death was completely unexpected - she’d had a healthy pregnancy (as she did with the couple’s other child, a 3-year-old girl), but she likely developed a blood clot during labor that quickly turned into a pulmonary embolism, which killed her, doctors told Montou after her death.

An Arkansas woman is facing a felony charge after pointing a gun at a teenage
boy who she says was sexually assaulting her neighbor’s dog. US NEWS Report

Kerrie Lenkerd told police in Centerton, a northwest Arkansas town, that she looked out a window and saw the teen with "the dog he raped last time."

"I got my gun out of my safe and went out my back door," Lenkerd told police, according to a court filing. "I told him to get on the f---ing ground and pointed my gun at him."

The boy, identified only as NM, 14 years old, in court documents, jumped over a fence and ran. As he fled, Lenkerd fired a shot into the grass "to scare him," she said.

Rebecca Cannon visited her sister with her 14-month-old daughter, Kyla. When the kids decided to go outside to play, Cannon, 32, wanted to use sunscreen on Kyla, even though it was overcast. Cannon forgot her usual sunscreen, so she borrowed some: Banana Boat Kids Sunscreen Spray SPF 50. Cannon sprayed it in her hands and rubbed some on Kyla's nose and cheeks.

"When it came to having sunscreen on, I thought it was better to have some sunscreen than none at all," Cannon told TODAY.

A few hours later, Kyla's face became red and swollen. The next morning, it was worse.

I love you so much it brings tears to my eyes just to think of all the years we've spent together backstage running the show, taking care of each other. You are one of a kind. I'm so proud of you.

Chelsea Manning posts first picture of herself, came out of prison as a transgender

 


Chelsea Manning posted the first image of herself on Thursday since her release from military prison.

according to CNN, Manning was convicted in 2013 on 20 charges, including violating the Espionage Act, for leaking a massive trove of US documents and video to WikiLeaks.

She was found not guilty of aiding the enemy, thereby avoiding a life sentence, but received 35 years in military prison.
