A
woman in Mexico received her long awaited birth certificate which she had been
waiting for to prove her age that she was born in 1898.
The
city Department of Social Development said on Thursday that she was granted her
birth certificate this week but she died as a result of heart attack on
Wednesday.
The
woman by name Trinidad Alvarez Lira didn’t receive all the old age benefits she
was entitled to in her life time due to lack of evidence to prove her age.
Now
that the government had finally granted her the certificate, she could not
enjoy her benefits before she died.
The question is what the cause of the
woman’s death is, is it over happiness or depression and why the delay before
granting her birth certificate?
