People reject T Shirt from an Australian company

Target Australia company is under fire for selling a T Shirt, which suggests that girls should be doing a routine or tedious task in the house before going out to do other work.

The title on the T shirt which reads "Batgirl to do list," listed the routines that girls should do like dry clean cape, wash Bimobile, fight crime and save the world.

The shirt, which is meant for girls from the ages of two to seven, raised critics on Target Australia's Facebook page. A Facebook user who gave her name as Ninac Ollins, from Northcote, Victoria, in Australia posted comments on Face book about the shirt asking Target Australia why such an item would be sold in his store; according to him, it is offensive and insulting. Her comments  reads below:

Target, can you explain why you are selling something as offensive as this in your stores currently? What message are you intending on sending to young girls? I'm insulted that you present a future where our daughters need to complete their 'home duties' before they can go out and save the world. We know that working mothers still do more housework than their spouses, we don't need you to perpetuate this inequity.

In response to the critics, Target Australia posted this reply:
Hello everyone thanks for sharing your feedback with us. It absolutely wasn't our intention to cause any offense with this shirt, so we really appreciate you all getting in touch with us to let us know your thoughts. We've taken this feedback on board, and sincerely apologise for any disappointment caused.

According to The Guardian, the shirt would no longer be sold.
