MIRACLE: A FOUR YEAR OLD GILR SURVIVED A CRASH



 
She is the only survivor of a crash between a minivan and an Amtrak train that took the lives of her parents and her sisters in southern Colorado.
According to the State Patrol, the girl was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The girl's parents who were identified as Stephen Miller and Christine Miller died in the crash and their daughters who also died are of ages 6, 2 and 8 months.

The crash happened at a railroad crossing in a rural area near Trinidad.
Trooper Art Gumke says the crossing is marked with signs but doesn't have gates to stop vehicles.
An Amtrak spokeswoman says that more than 280 passengers were on board at the time of the crash and none on the train got injured. She says the train involved was the Southwest Chief, which travels between Chicago and Los Angeles.
Investigation is going to ascertain the cause of the crash.
