years old Maria Kukucova has been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment after the
court found her guilty of killing his friend Andrew Bush.
According to the report, the incident took place in
Bush’s house on April 5th, 2014 when Bush returned from a trip to his home
in Estepona with his new girlfriend. Kukucova, who had been waiting inside the
house without Bush's permission, shot him because she became jealous after
seeing him with another woman.
During the trial, Kukucova told the court that she did
not mean to kill Bush, and that she had acted in self-defence during a violent
struggle at his home in Estepona,
The presiding judge on Tuesday sentenced Kukucova to
15 years in prison for Bush's murder and six months in jail for breaking
into his home.
She was also ordered by the judge to pay €160,000
($178,000) in compensation to Bush's daughter and €40,000 to his sister.
