Authorities are still searching for the driver
who killed 54-year-old Charity Orji near Forest Lane near Plano Road in Texas,
USA. According to reports from nypost.com, The mother of six had reportedly
been walking home with her family including her 18-year-old daughter after
attending a wedding, before the driver 'came out from nowhere', hitting her and
another 63-year-old man. Orji was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man
was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.
Orji's
sister-in-law, Jeanne Martin, said: “It’s just painful knowing that someone can
do something like this and not stop and keep going. A truck comes from out of
nowhere … from out of nowhere this vehicle comes and just knocks them down
[and] keeps going.” the deceased had recently moved to the area with her
husband reports said.
Meanwhile,
the Dallas police has asked anyone with useful information about the
unidentified driver to call (214) 671-4268.
